William Fugat Wampler

William Fugat Wampler, 89, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harley Rayl of Rt. 4, at 8:30 a.m. today. He was a retired farmer and quarry worker. His wife, Ada Wampler, died in 1941. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harley Rayl, R. 4, and Mrs. Fred Taylor, R. 4; two sisters, Mrs. Nannie Humphreys, R. 4, and Mrs. Alma Burris, Linton; five grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at the Sanders Pentecostal Church, where he was a member, at 2 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Russell Nelson will officiate. Burial will be in Clear Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the Greene and Harrell Funeral Home after 6 p.m. today.
